Answers Before You Keep Scrolling

Is there parking at your Petaluma office?▾

Yes — free customer parking right out front of 1400 N McDowell Blvd. Suite 200 is upstairs.

Can I get a quote without visiting the office?▾

Most customers do — email a few photos to [email protected] and we'll build a flat-rate quote from that. Commercial jobs usually get an in-person walkthrough from Denise first.

Why Repeat Customers Call Us First

The Number Marcus Quotes Is the Number You Pay

Marcus Robb looks at every job himself — a phone call, a video walk-through, or photos you text over — before he puts a number on paper, and that same number is what shows up on the invoice.

Every Mover Draws a Robb & Messer Paycheck

Hector Reyes and Bryce Coleman trained this crew themselves, and all eight full-time movers on our trucks stay on payroll year-round — nobody’s pulled off a gig app the morning your job is scheduled.

The Paperwork Beats You to the Question

Denise Messer keeps two folders current at all times — California’s Cal-T permit for jobs that start and end inside the state, and the federal US DOT/MC authority that applies the moment a truck crosses into Nevada or Oregon. Ask for the certificate of insurance and the $1M cargo figure is already printed on it.

Built Around a North Bay Calendar, Not a Generic One

When a wildfire-smoke advisory grounds outdoor loading west of town, we call to reschedule before the smoke rolls in, not after, and once winter rain turns the dirt driveways past the river soft, we stage the truck on the road instead of risking it getting stuck.

The Hard Parts Are Priced Before We Show Up

A downtown Victorian’s narrow servant staircase, a wine-country estate with a gate code and a long gravel approach, the extra miles out past Cotati — all of it gets built into the number before you sign, so the invoice doesn’t grow once the truck is in your driveway.

Every One of Our 8 Trucks Leaves Fully Stocked

Pads, straps, dollies, and shrink wrap ride on every truck before it leaves the yard, so nobody’s making a hardware-store run in the middle of your move.

Book Before Summer Fills the Calendar

Lock in your Petaluma move date online now — Sonoma County’s summer weeks go first every year once school lets out and lease turnovers stack up on the same weekends.

Rescheduling Never Adds a Dollar

An evacuation warning goes out west of town, or an escrow closing slides a week — either way, moving your date ahead of time doesn’t change your quote.

Real Local Numbers, Not A Web Calculator

Every figure traces back to an actual job Marcus or Denise has priced around Petaluma before, with veteran, teacher, and student-move discounts already folded into the total.

Word for Word, From the People We Moved

Read them as they were posted — Sonoma County households talking about their own move day, no editing on our end.

Hector walked our downtown Victorian staircase before a single box came in and had a plan for every turn — nothing scraped, nothing rushed.

No fog-season surcharge, no fuel line item — the price Denise wrote down over the phone was the price on the invoice.
